There are three different types among nurses – Advanced practice nurses, registered nurses or RNs, and license practical nurses or LPNs. Each section has a different educational route. The nursing career comes with a lot of responsibilities. In fact, the nature of the nursing duties assigned go hand in hand with the working environment as well as educational level. During the first few years of their job, the nurses would have to attend to the bedside duties of patients. As the seniority increases, the duties also change. A senior most person would be dealing with medical equipments, attending to special patients from departments like Psychiatry and Paediatrics, would provide assistance in the intensive care unit, and so on.
